Sharing my frustration. And a future note to me 🙂
I recompiled a Delphi project in my latest state of the art Delphi XE 7 environment.
Connecting to a MS SQL 2008 R2 database and when running my app I keep on receiving a:
“Property Value is Invalid” exception.
The exception message do not really give much more of a clue than “Property” and “Invalid”.
So the fix is:
on you ADO database component/control – clear the “DefaultDatabase” property
