Today I need to implement new maps in our EDI system.
Are you familiar with EDI?
Not a very sexy topic after all –
but read more if you are after all not just a “shallow all about beauty not about the personality” kind of person…
Electronic Document Interface is just a FTP communication protocol between two points.
Documents are communicating aka EDI messages.
And ooo – Odex. Yes Odex, is an EDI software tool to help you setup your trader partners, workflows, maps etc.
Juts a piece of software that allows you manage all of this.
So our new map will allow data from our customer to be extracted into CSV format.
Not expecting too many comments on this topic though.
But hey – this is a “memblog”.
